Sometimes selfish feelings outweigh my romanticism. Sometimes I want my words to do more than move them... I want reciprocity in that feeling. Therein lies my dichotomy, to write for the right reasons when those reasons may include the wrong choice of person. I don't know if I'm expressing myself properly here but at least I enjoyed writing the poem.
